MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB To assist with the efficient running of the F&B distribution operation, which requires a flexible approach to working hours. Working effectively as an individual and as part of a team is essential and helping to ensure that work targets are completed in a timely and efficient manner. RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Personal Effectiveness
  • Accurate processing of products including receipt, picking, scanning & dispatch of products in a timely manner.
  • Raising necessary dispatch documentation via distribution systems and third-party programs/software.
  • Packing of retail orders as per F&B procedures, ensuring the highest level of accuracy & presentation.
  • Flexible approach to working hours, as overtime will be required during the week and at weekends during peak periods.
  • Gaining and maintaining knowledge of appropriate health & safety guidelines and ensure rules are adhered to.
2. Communication
  • Timely reporting of any stock or administrative issues to the Supervisor or Distribution Manager as appropriate.
  • To work effectively and efficiently, both as an individual and as part of a team, sharing information as relevant combined with a good telephone manner and courteous approach to staff of all levels across the business.
3. Appearance
  • To wear the allocated uniform and always appear presentable and well-groomed.
  • To ensure that work areas are always kept clean and tidy.
