Overview: Take your seat onboard one of our world famous trams and join our award winning team for the 2024 season. We’re recruiting now for customer focused people who want to make a difference as a Customer Service Host on our trams.

You’ll be helping us to provide an industry leading transport service to up to 5 million tram customers each year, backed by a supporting team of colleagues.
Working on our trams is fast-paced and full of fun if you’re willing to get involved and do more than just checking tickets. You’re an ambassador for our resort, responsible for welcoming millions of visitors to Blackpool each year. That means being a tour guide, a walking information kiosk, and most importantly – a key player in delivering on our promise to provide exceptional customer care to everyone you meet.

• You’ll have guaranteed hours if you want them, 37 hours per week, every week.
• You’ll earn the living wage of £12ph.

Responsibilities: Through professionalism, behaviors and knowledge promote the brand.
Ensure an excellent customer experience being polite, helpful and treating all customers with respect.
Comply with all health and safety practices and procedures. Be alert at all times considering your own safety and the safety of others.

Safeguard the company’s revenue operating the paying in system correctly and accounting for all monies received and paid in.

Provide information about fares and ticket prices to ensure that customers can make informed choices about the offers available.

Adopt a professional approach at all times to minimise any customer complaints. Deal with problems pro-actively and courteously.

Give appropriate assistance to customers with specific needs ensuring that they are dealt with sensitively and with dignity at all times.

Carry out any other duties which may reasonably be requested by the Depot Controllers, Inspectors, Operations management or other members of the management team.
Qualifications:
