Finance System development and continuous improvement:

  • Proactively identify opportunities for process enhancement through system improvements and automation.
  • Assist in systems testing following supplier upgrades, identify issues and potential solutions, working with the supplier to resolve issues.
  • Work alongside the Senior Finance Systems Administrator to establish support desk KPI’s and subsequent reporting.

Business Partnering:

  • Cultivate business relationships with colleagues, suppliers and system users to elevate user experience, providing guidance and advice.
  • Actively participate in supplier groups, leveraging insights to inform system enhancements.

Training/facilitation:

  • Identify training needs and develop comprehensive content to address skill gaps.
  • Provide effective training and support to end-users.

Audit and compliance:

  • Collaborating effectively with colleagues to support the provision of information for audits and other due diligence compliance requirements.
  • Conduct regular system audits, identifying and resolving discrepancies to ensure data consistency and process compliance.

We are looking for a proactive individual who will ideally bring the following:

  • Proficiency in troubleshooting system issues and implementing effective solutions.
  • Experience with system testing upgrades, and implementation of process enhancements.
  • Proven track record of effectively collaborating with colleagues to drive system and process improvements.
  • Advanced excel skills and knowledge of BI reporting including ETL’s, SQL and Data Warehouse would also be advantageous, but this is not essential.
