About the roleThe Educational Psychology Group within the Division of Psychology and Language Sciences invites applications for a part-time Administrator to deliver administrative support within a friendly team of three. The post is available at 0.6 FTE (3 days per week) for a two year fixed term. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for students and tutors, providing support for two post-graduate doctorate training courses in Educational and Child Psychology, as well as taking responsibility for other areas of work such as servicing committees and administering CPD courses. The post-holder will be required to establish good working relationships with Departmental academic and administrative staff with whom they will work closely. About youApplicants should be well-organised and (most essentially) have excellent people skills, as this is a student and tutor-facing role suited to somebody with a helpful attitude who is able to work flexibly within a team. Applicants should have good IT skills, some experience of diary management within an office environment, preferably using MS Outlook. The ability to multi-task, prioritise and pay meticulous attention to detail are required for this role. Applicants should also have good IT skills, including experience of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and ideally experience of moodle or an alternative equivalent virtual learning environment system.
