Information About The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Intelligence Researcher to join the National Maritime Assessment Centre (NMAC) Counter Terrorism Border Policing (South) team. Our Research and Analysis Team produces high quality research and analytical products to support the National Maritime Assessment Centre and National Ports Services.
Responsibilities
As an Intelligence Researcher you will be responsible for identifying and researching information and intelligence from relevant data sets to provide comprehensive research products to enable decision making in relation to vessel targeting. You will identify, collect, collate, evaluate and disseminate information and intelligence that is relevant to the identification of risk, threat and opportunity to UK Maritime.
We are looking for a candidate with excellent communication skills including the ability to liaise with and work in partnership with other units within the CTP Borders Services South – Maritime & Commodities Portfolio, the wider CTP network and partner agencies, to gather and research information and intelligence.
Maintain personal responsibility for collection, recording, evaluation, information sharing, review, retention and disposal of information in compliance with codes of practice and Guidance in the Management of Information, Information Security Policy, procedures and legislation.
