IKEA Hammersmith are looking to welcome a Store Assistants to work together delivering an amazing shopping experience for our customers Hammersmith is a unique city store where you will be working across all areas of the store, receiving deliveries, helping customers shop and completing their purchases at the till, no two days will be the same. • Contract sizes available are 12 - 24 Hours per week, includes evenings and full weekends.

• Open to change / high flexibility and excellent attention to details.
• Enthusiastic and able to work with others in a team.
• Good written and conversational language skills.
• A passion for home furnishing and retailing.
• Confident in approaching and communicating with people in a proactive manner.
• Ability to prioritise and organize your own work to make efficient use of the time available.

WHAT YOULL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

• Demonstrate enthusiasm and continuously acquire knowledge about IKEA products and services, sharing this expertise with customers and colleagues and promote the IKEA brand.
• Proactively engage with customers offering advice, and support to find furnishing solutions to fit their actual needs.
• Arrange product displays and ensure that the stock is clean, tidy, priced and full.
• Work to ensure goods availability and timely completion of stock deliveries for our customers, following goods flow principles in a safe way
• Conduct the delivery operations efficiently in the designated area, to ensure an effective goods flow process and maintain data accuracy.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment in the IKEA store for both visitors and colleagues, actively preventing incidents by adhering to IKEAs health, safety, and security policies and requirements within the designated area.
• Assist in simplifying the customer payment process, employing the proper tools with precision.
